Sonke Computer Services Africa was born out of the desire to create a delivery orientated organization that nurtures and leverages its resources.
Originally Safmarine Computer Services, it was renamed when the then empowerment partners, bought out the Safmarine share in 2006, establishing the black owned and controlled technology company, Sonke Computer Services Africa.
CEB Wananchi originated from the CEB "group" of companies that started in 1981. In 2009 SCS and CEB Wananchi merged to leverage off each other’s strengths with a view to becoming a leader in the South African market and to make this new entity a key player on a global level, with an African focus, bringing turnkey solutions to the corporate world and ultimately become a listed entity.
We invest in the skills development of our staff and strive to maintain an equal balance of race and gender in our organization on every level. With a balance of highly skilled and experienced staff, we are in the fortunate position to train and skill new entrants with the right aptitude for our company.
“At SCS, we believe that our strength lies in our people, business processes and the technologies at our disposal, delivering our solutions through certified resources ensuring consistency and an exceptional standard of service” – Nico van der Linde, MD.
